Our Rooms

Nursery Room Groups
  • Nursery Room Groups

Marigold has four dedicated nursery rooms
  • Marigold offers unique care for each age and stage of development

  • We offer separate rooms for each different age group. Our dedicated rooms mean that babies and children spend their days with others of a similar age and development stage. When it’s time to progress to the next room we will always aim to move small groups of children together, especially if there are strong friendship bonds and it’s the right thing for the children.

    • A friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all the family
    • Daily updates and comprehensive Learning Journals
    • A regular newsletter about all the fun things the children have been doing!
    • An Open Door Policy for parents
    • Professional and caring staff and management
  • Settling In Visits

Every child is different and we work closely with new parents to work out the best settling in plan for their child. This helps everybody get off to a good start and feel confident from day one!

    Key Person

This is the person who builds a special bond with your child giving them the reassurance they need to feel safe and cared for at nursery. They will also work to build a trusting relationship with you so that you feel happy to leave your little one with us.

    Communications

We communicate with parents in lots of different ways, through verbal feedback at the end of sessions, written diaries, Learning Journals, progress and development reports, newsletters etc. We also value feedback from you – please tell us what you think!

    Open Door

All parents are welcome at Marigold at any time. We will always try to make ourselves available if you wish to discuss anything provided this does not compromise staffing ratios – the children are always our first priority!
